Bhagya Lakshmi is an innocent and sympathetic village who gets married to a man who is businessman by profession named Rishi Oberoi.As time passed Lakshmi knows about the reality of marriage.Infact it was not a marriage it was a trick to remove something wrong from Rishi’s life which was said by his Pandit, and the main palnner was the Rish’s mother.Malishka is the girl friend of Rishi.Firstly, she oppose the marriage of Rishi and lakshmi but after, she agreed to believe that things would be better in future and Rishi will marry again with her.After some days of Rishi marriage Malishka found that Rishi’s behavior is going change about Lakshmi.
In the end, the court orders Lakshmi and Rishi to remain together for six months prior to the divorce being finalized, citing their close bond. Rishi falls in love with Lakshmi during the six months, but Malishka devises a scheme to make it appear as though Rishi had slept with her when in reality he hadn’t. After completing her divorce, Lakshmi departs. Malishka and Rishi’s marriage is set in stone. But Rishi brings her back, saying he will help her settle down as a friend and get married to a man. But after thinking about Malishka, Lakshmi declines Rishi’s proposal to her, telling Malishka that he only loves her.
